What types of problems can be prevented with maintenance care?
The benefits of maintenance care are numerous and immeasurable. For example, regular chiropractic care can help prevent injuries by keeping neurological reflexes intact and ligaments strong. This decreases the chance of sprain, and falls of all types. Degenerative changes and the normal wear and tear that are a part of life are also decelerated with regular chiropractic care. When bones are kept in proper alignment, arthritic changes are less likely to occur as ligaments are under less stress and pressure on discs is more equally distributed. Can pain and inflammation be reduced with maintenance care?
Definitely. Regular adjustments prevent the accumulation nervous and muscular tension. Can ailments like digestive disturbances and asthma be helped by maintenance care? Yes. Chiropractic therapy in combination with Applied Kinesiology liberates life force that is transmitted across nerves. Organ function is enhanced and physiological balance is maintained. How often should I come for a maintenance care visit?
I personally prefer 1 visit a month for my own body, however for many people 4 visits a year is sufficient for preventing problems from recurring and for maintaining good health. One good rule of thumb is to have a treatment with each change of season. However, if a flare-up of symptoms should happen one can come sooner than their scheduled maintenance care visit. Each individual will have a unique set of circumstances. There are no fixed rules. |
